I have been fascinated with rainbows for as long as I can remember...they have always been something special to me. I feel captivated by there beauty and amazed each time I see one. I have tons of pictures of rainbows... I even took this one of a double rainbow. Is it the rainbow part that pulls me into this truly magical song - one that probably everyone knows.... that I do not know... but I do know I have always loved this song.

I've sort of been a little sad today... and got lost in this song while playing it on my keyboard. I do dream of a land where my dreams really will come true. I won't make such stupid mistakes and everyone will be happy. It all seems so simple - maybe one day those little blue birds will take me there....

Wow - I didn't know what someone was talking about today when they asked me if I had heard this lady sing this song. I thought it was some joke but agreed to watch the video! Oh my word - I can not describe how shocked I was! It was so touching - to think this lady still hasn't given up on her dream and she's 47! It was definitely inspiring and i needed that today for sure - (not the best of days.... i had someone call and wake me up bright and early and it was NOT a pleasant conversation...)
Life can sometimes seem to take away our dreams; sometimes things seem totally impossible.
We must not give up though! Hope this gives us all a little hope today! :-)

Another post about lies - oh my! I guess my conscience must really be weighing a little heavy these days... I feel sometimes I make some of the stupidest mistakes. I don't know how I get myself into some of the craziest situations. I just hope I haven't made a big mess with some ignorant choices I've made recently. I certainly don't want to lose anyone I hold dear. :( This is a song off Martina's new CD. It took me by surprise the first time I listened to it. I think it is a very well written song. It may not match exactly what I'm writing about; but I still think it is a very good song.

I feel like in someways this is what i've allowed my life to become in a couple of different ways.

Here's one of my favorite hymns. I thought it would go great with Easter.
The Lily of the Valley. I am thankful for God's love. I know I make mistakes; but I'm thankful that God still loves me and sent his son to die for me. This old world can be a little crazy sometimes; but if you put your faith in God - just think how wonderful heaven will be. Happy Easter everyone!

Life is such a precious gift. I don't think we realize just how precious sometimes.
Do we ever really stop to think about what part we play in the world around us?
I really like the whole idea of this song. As I sit here and reflect on myself getting older - it's good to know that there are some things that I just can not control. Sometimes life just happens along the way. We all experience happiness, sadness, loneliness, aggravation, anger, love, and oh so many more emotions. The good thing is even though some of those we might not like - it means we're living. Be grateful that you are alive. Use the bad to help you appreciate the good. (By the way this is a mental note to myself too.) So on that note -

I didn't have intentions to use another country song so soon- because I listen to a very wide range of music... yet I sort of couldn't help but use this one.
I am not in a relationship right now. Several months ago however - I had fell for someone pretty hard. It was such a wonderful feeling! I can't describe how happy i was during that time. The timing wasn't right and it sort of fell apart. I am so glad that I have been able to gain a really good friend from it though.
I think my ipod was on random when I caught this one.
Some may take it as sad but to me it made me really happy.
I look forward to sharing that wonderful feeling of being in love again.
