Okay...I sort of just discovered this song this weekend... I think I'd heard it or part of it before, but really hadn't payed any attention to it until... I heard Heidi singing this at the Country Music Festival Sunday night. Something about hearing something like 40,000 people singing along with this song just touched me...

I want a love like Johnny and June too. I think I'm really ready for that in my life. I know I have had my heart broken a few times; but I want someone to love. I know I'm probably being a little unrealistic but I want to find my prince charming. I want to find someone that I can love and share a life with. I want us to build a life together. This song just says it so perfect. Like it says... they don't make love like that anymore... Is it to much to ask for?? I want someone that it can be forever with. Call me a crazy dreamer...but I'm hopeful.

Life is weird... maybe that's just me but to me it is. Sometimes things just have ways of working themselves out... God is in control - that is for sure. It's just truly amazing how he works sometimes. Sometimes when you think all hope is lost - something magical truly happens. Sometimes things that we think are going to happen wind up not - yet then we realize later it was truly for our good. I am just trying to appreciate that and let that all sink in at the moment.
